Channel Letters with Neon light Tubes:
Channel letters illuminated with "neon" tubes is the norm for
many years. Neon tube lited channel letters are quite reliable. However,
neon tube lited channel letter have many disadavntages. Neon tube iluuminated
channel letters require high voltage power supplies. The neon tubes require
a skilled person to make the neon tubes to fit inside the channel letters.
The Neon tube still must be custom make even though the quality of neon
tube bending in channel letters do not require to be perfect. Replacement
of defective neon light tube would be expensive. Glass neon tubes also
break easily.
Channel letters with LED light modules
Channel letters illuminated with LED
light modules is the new light source alternative. LED light module
is perfect for channel letters. Channel letters can be installed with
LED modules using either the mounting clip
or double side tape. The installation of LED light in channel letter requires
very little training. LED light modules, work at low voltage and low current,
are safe to work with. Defective LED module in the channel letters can
be replaced very easily without custom ordering
anything. Channel letters with LED light modules are much easier to install
and maintain.
